: Hi all you helpful folks!
: As you may remember, I posted some time ago about having a mdmr. conviction from years ago and getting my teacher's certification in a different state than where it occured. It was suggested that I get my own FBI fingerprint check - and see if anything comes up. I did this, and it showed up "no arrest", am I safe now? They really don't check every state or anything right? I'm still very worried, and need some reassurance. Thank you all soooo much for all your help - you really are good samaritans and life savers --Vanessa
**But they might ask you about arrests/convictions in *any* state and if that's the case they can find out by fingerprinting you through the state your record was in. Usually they fingerprint for FBI and the state you will be working in. It's possible the FBI could go to that state to find out. Or the courts in the area you were convicted in.
