In 1997, during my college years in Ohio, I was convicted of attempted resisting arrest and in 1999 I was charged w/ felony breaking and entering but convicted of misdemeanor theft. I've consulted a few Ohio attorneys on expunging these convictions and been told that I will be unable to. According to Ohio law, only first time offenders are eligible for expungement.
Is this true, and if so, is there any way around it?
